It’s time for our monthly roundup of subscription boxes and surprise boxes so you can see what themes are available at all our favourite boxes with kawaii characters, plush, stationery, candy & snacks, crafts and more. This month there’s lots of different themes, from fruit and vending machines to happy mail and ninjas. We also have special discounts for new subscribers!

Read our April highlights post to see what’s inside the the current boxes and our favourite treats. TokyoTreat (candy & snacks) has a Ninja Snackventure theme with orange KitKats, spicy ramen noodles, apple juice, candy sword & lots more. Sakuraco (traditional snacks) celebrates Flavours of Hakone with local artisan delicacies from Kanagawa, plus tea and a marquetry plate. Summer 2024 Pusheen Box Review

Pusheen Box (US)

The Summer 2024 Pusheen Box & Cat Kit are available to pre-order now, shipping in July. The theme is Freshly Picked with exclusive Pusheen Fruits-themed treats for you or your cat. Follow @pusheenbox on Instagram if you want to see some spoilers before deciding.

Rainbowholic (JP)

It’s great to see Rainbowholic Shop making themed stationery boxes again. There’s no subscription (join their Patreon for that!) so you can order whenever there’s a theme that suits your interests. This month, you can choose from Happy Mail, Cream Soda and Sanrio. All the boxes include a mix of items from Japanese stationery brands and sometimes their own original designs too.

ZenPop (JP)

ZenPop’ ‘s latest Japanese Stationery Box is a Monochrome Mix, filled with black and white stationery for a minimal style. Their Japanese Snack Box is ready for rainy season with a Tsuyu Treats theme of snacks and treats or the Ramen Box celebrates the Verdant Delights of Spring with at least 7 full sized instant noodles to try.

SoKawaii (JP)

SoKawaii invite you to join the Kawaii Lovers Club for the June box with a cute mix of kawaii and lifestyle items featuring Kirby, Pokémon, and Sanrio. Sign up by the end of the month to get one.

Kawaii Box & Japan Candy Box (HK)

This month, the Kawaii Box theme is Picture-Perfect Purikura which will include an exclusive Hangyodon plush and more Sanrio items featuring Cinnamoroll & Hello Kitty. The Japan Candy Box theme is a Konbini Experience with snacks & candy from KitKat, Hi-Chew, Chip Star & Toppo. Signups for both close at the end of the month.

Sophie & Toffee (SG)

We were really sorry to hear that Sophie & Toffee’s co-founder passed away recently. They’re understandably running a little behind at the moment but you can still subscribe for their creative subscription boxes, which have everything you need for exclusive craft projects. The next Puni Puni Box DIY squishies subscription hasn’t been announced yet, but the The Elves Box theme is Pretty Nails with items to help make decoden nail art and The Disney Box is themed around Mulan.
