I was really sad to hear that online kawaii shop Modes4u will be closing at the end of this year. We first featured them just a few weeks after we started the blog and they’ve been a firm favourite ever since.
They’ll still be adding new products for a while but if there’s something you’ve had your eye on, best to grab it as it’s unlikely to be restocked. If you’re not a regular at Modes4u, they sell kawaii character stationery, plush, toys, squishies, bento boxes, accessories and more from brands like San-X, Sanrio, Pokemon, Re-Ment, Mind Wave, Kamio, mt and Shinzi Katoh. They have big collections for Halloween and Christmas too.
They also have a huge range of cute fabric including kawaii characters, Japanese brands and seasonal/holiday themes so it’s well worth adding to your stash for future projects.
