There’s a new Sumikko Gurashi collection and cat fans will be happy to see it features Neko. I’ve always thought Neko was the least-developed main character so it’s good to find out a bit more of their back story.
As you can see in the video, the gang bump into some cats in the forest and Neko has a flashback to an adorable kitten childhood and realises they’re Neko’s siblings!
It seems Neko was a greedy kitten and used to eat more than their fair share of food but they all bond a bit and have some fish biscuits.
