Sanrio created Cogimyun back in 2015 but we’ve never had a proper feature on SCK so let’s meet her!
Cogimyun is a flour spirit who sometimes collapses into a pile of powder. She has a lot of fun food friends including a pink flour bunny, fried shrimp pet, a mysterious chocolate cornet and a cat made of pasta.
You can follow Cogimyun on Twitter or Instagram and there’s also a Youtube channel with lots of cute videos. Most fun of all is a quiz where you can find out which character you’re most like (I am, of course, the mysterious chocolate cornet!).
Sanrio Japan (requires forwarding service) has quite a big range of Cogimyun plush, accessories, stationery and more, with many items currently reduced. Most items are also available through VeryGoods (JP) t and Sanrio (US) and ARTBOX (UK) have a few bags and accessories.
The inspiration for this post was an incredible new collaboration all about her Ebi Shrimp pet. It’s available exclusively at Munyugurumi Patio (JP – requires forwarding service) and orders close this Sunday (27th March), shipping in May. I really want that big plushie but the acrylic stands are fun too.
And I need to squeeze in this frill dress at GRL (JP) as it is too cute and even comes with a matching headband. This brand does turn up on Mercari and Ebay too if you don’t want to deal with forwarding.
