Sanrio are always busy working on cute new products and collaborations with Hello Kitty and all her friends so here’s some new ones you might have missed.
Mai x Sanrio
The first collection with Mai was so popular that they’ve expanded it with lots of new products. That includes limited edition ceramics handmade by Marzia along with enamel mugs, tea towel, tote bag, stickers and more. It’s available exclusively at Sanrio EU but they do ship internationally.
Stitch & Story x Hello Kitty
Stitch & Story are really becoming the place to go for kawaii character craft collaborations and the new Hello Kitty collection includes 7 amigurumi crochet kits. Some are suitable for beginners so why not have a go? If you’re more of a knitter, their older knitting kits are currently on sale.
Over in Japan, Kuromi is claiming her place as a creepy cute fashion icon with a new Romiare Design collection. It’s full of plush, accessories and stationery that Halloween fans are sure to love. Everything is available now at Sanrio Japan (requires forwarding service) and Very Goods (JP) and hopefully some items will turn up at UK/EU/US stockists soon.
Hello Kitty x Team USA
If you got hooked on the Tokyo Olympics and don’t want it to be over, Sanrio (US & Canada shipping only) have added some new items to the Team USA collection including a Hello Kitty gold medal plush, Funko Pop and pin. Spend $40 and you’ll get a free Tuxedo Sam pin too.
Hello Kitty & Friends Mini Tales
And finally, there’s a new season of Hello Kitty & Friends Mini Tales coming up and you can watch the trailer to see what’s in store. This is an animation series based on figures and sets that are available to buy in toy shops worldwide and features all the main gang.
