These super cute Halloween DIYs are all quick and easy videos and digital downloads so you just need to pick up some supplies – and snacks! – for the perfect crafty party, or to keep your hands busy while watching spooky anime.
Kuromi is Friend of the Month at Sanrio and the Hello Kitty and Friends channel has lots of fun new DIYs to try, though most will need a trip to the craft store. This Spooky Wreath will look amazing on your front door, and there’s also a boo basket, hair bow and churro doughnuts.
Origami is always a quick and easy activity as all you need is paper. Hello Origami’s Halloween Paper Squishies are very fun with a cute pumpkin, bat and eyeball to try. There’s also new tutorials for jumping pumpkins and Halloween cats, plus another 30+ cute ideas on the Halloween playlist.
kamikey origami has some new decorations to make but I really love these simple Halloween Pockets for a little treat or message. The video shows you how to make a pumpkin, haunted house and ghost but it’s easy to adapt for your own ideas too. Check the Halloween playlist for more characters to add in.
I only discovered Chisshy Origami this year but they have three years’ worth of adorable Halloween tutorials. One of my favourite things about this channel is that a lot of the projects can be combined. The new Origami Lantern is a big hanging decoration that you can fill with any characters, and re-use it for other holidays too. There’s also message cards and treat bags.
For a quick crochet project, Crochet Joy has new tutorials for little Halloween keychains including ghosts, bats, skulls, witch hats and pumpkins. I had to feature the ghosts as they’re too cute but if you don’t have all the supplies, you could embroider the face and use a yarn loop for hanging. The bats and skulls are flat shapes so easier for beginners.
Polymer clay crafts are fun to do with friends and Cloudfetti has new tutorials for a Cat in a Pumpkin and Haunted Tombstone (with cute ghost). These can be used as decorations or turned into a keychain. You can also browse their Halloween playlist for more ideas.
cutepolish has a new compilation of Easy & Cute Halloween Nail Art Designs with something for everyone, whether you’re dressing up, welcoming trick or treaters, partying or just heading to the office.
Kim-Joy has been posting lots of short videos with easy and super cute Halloween recipes. The Cobweb Octopuff is on Youtube and only takes 10 minutes to make, with minimal ingredients. Check her Instagram or TikTok for pizza, doughnuts and – my favourite! – colourful meringue monsters.

If that all still looks like too much effort, download some colouring sheets and grab your pens or crayons. ilariapops has an affordable set of 6 spooky-cute illustrations featuring her original animal characters in Halloween costumes.

Or Aubryjoi has a new set of Pumpkitty coloring pages that you can customise with your own faces and then colour in. Join their Lil’ Crow Club to get it for free, along with loads of other kawaii printables, or buy it for a few dollars.
