Chococat is celebrating his 25th anniversary this year and you can celebrate with these cute picks & DIYs.
Poor Chococat has been completely ignored in his home country of Japan in recent years but Sanrio USA still love Chococat and recently made him their Friend of the Month. Here’s a few fun facts about the little black cat with a chocolate-coloured nose.
I’m afraid all the shopping picks are from US shops but most ship internationally. Sanrio (ships to USA & Canada only) have a small collection including this little plush that’s also a pouch and ID holder.
They have added loads of cute designs to their Amazon store (US) though and you can order them on a wide range of t-shirts and sweatshirts, plus a few phone grips.
The Creme Shop (US) have a cute beauty collaboration with Sanrio that includes a few Chococat items. How about some cocoa butter cream?
If you really feel like celebrating, Sanrio have a tutorial for a very special Chococat Chocolate Cola Cake. It’s not a quick recipe but not too complicated either – and it sounds really yummy.
Kids Can Draw has a very cute video with how to draw Chococat if you’d like to make a journal spread or decorations.
Make some fun Chococat hanging earrings with polymer clay using this tutorial by ArtzieRush.
Or try making a needle felted Chococat with this video from EZ Art Studio.
Chococat also appears in both animated series on the Hello Kitty & Friends channel. Happy anniversary Chococat!
