While I love big huggable plushies, there’s something extra cute about small ones, plus they’re more affordable and take up a lot less space! Here’s some super cute mini plush you’ll want to collect.
With everything being so weird this year, I had totally forgotten about Pusheen surprise plush so it’s great to see a new set drop. The theme this time is Rainbow and there’s some very sweet pastel Pusheens to find with shooting stars, bows and moons. They’re in stock at The Pusheen Shop (USA) now but should turn up in kawaii shops worldwide soon.
Long-time kawaii fans will love San-X’s new nigichoko mini plush collection. It features some real old school faves like Afro Ken and Tarepanda as well as new friends like Jinbe San and Kokoro Airaguma. The product launch is tomorrow at San-X Japan (requires a forwarding service) and they’ll hopefully be available more widely soon.
Tasty Peach Studios (USA) have scaled down their popular Meowchi and Nomwhal characters for new mini keyring plushies. I hear they’re pretty limited so don’t hang around if you want one.
Have you been playing Pokemon Cafe Mix? VeryGoods (Japan) have some new keychain plush of Pikachu, Eevee and friends in their cute cafe outfits. That’s not how you wear a hat, Munchlax.
You don’t see a lot of kawaii dinosaurs but of course Amuse have done it. Try and choose your favourite from the Puchimaru Dinosaur Kingdom set at Tofu Cute (UK). The T-Rex skeleton is already sold out – and no wonder!
Do you prefer big plushies or small ones?
