Sending a card to relatives, friends or loved ones is a great way of showing that you’re thinking about them. You can even craft your own card to make it a bit more special. I’ve gathered some ideas to make cute DIY cards for various occasions.

DIY Cards

Canon Creative Park is a great website to look for free printable cards and other DIY projects. You can simply print a postcard or take up a slightly larger project, such as a 3D or pop-up card. You can find a card for every occasion here, including birthdays, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day.

DrawSoCute has a tutorial on how to make kawaii animal message cards, which comes with a free printable.

DIY Cards

For these purrrfect cat pop-up cards from RedTedArt you’ll only need some colored paper. I think this card would work for many occasions, as you can write any kind of message on the speech bubble.

If you’ve got any scraps of paper or maybe washi tape laying around, this DIY birthday card is super simple to make. I think it looks very cute! You could add a face to the flames to make the card extra kawaii.
