Summer 2019 Pusheen Box Review

I was very excited to review the Summer 2019 Pusheen Box when I found out it had a sailor theme and Pusheen in a sailor suit is just as adorable as I’d hoped! Here’s what was inside and my 5 favourite items. 

Ahoy! I love boats, sailor suits and the sea so this theme was perfect for me. Everything had a cute Pusheen design with a maritime theme and even the box had Pusheen sporting a little sailor hat! The vinyl figure this time is salty sea dog Pusheen in her red neckerchief scanning the seas for pirates with her trusty telescope.  

There were 9 items in the Summer 2019 Pusheen Box: sailor vinyl figure, mini keychain flask, salad container, magnetic to-do list, photo holder, pool float, can coolers, bandana and a striped tee. I liked how a lot of the items were useful and I could see myself using them a lot. Here’s my top 5 favourites.

Can Holders

I’ve never used one of these before and they really work. They keep your fizzy pop cool while also stopping your hands getting cold – genius! There are two in the pack with different designs so you can give one to a friend. 

Salad Container

This is really great for bringing lunch to work or for a picnic in the park! It’s pretty big but still comfortable to hold, with a close fitting lid so nothing falls out in your bag. It includes a handy fork and has a separate pot for your salad dressing.  

Mini Flask

This is made of stainless steel with a sturdy keychain attached to the stopper. It’s not super useful as it doesn’t hold much liquid but it looks really cute hanging from my bag.

Bandana

I love the colourful design on this with shipmates Pusheen and Stormy in their jaunty hats surrounded by anchors, starfish and shells. It would look really cute as a head scarf and also doubles up as a mini picnic blanket! 

Magnetic Notepad

This handy to do list sticks straight on your fridge so you can write down your shopping list or things you don’t want to forget. How else would I remember to buy snacks or have a lazy day?! The design is just so kawaii with Pusheen, Stormy and Pip sailing the seas in their yacht. 

Final Thoughts

I thought this was a great theme with lots of really cute and useful items. I was a little disappointed not to get a Sailor Pusheen plush in this box and the pool float would be better for someone with a swimming pool or beach nearby as it’s really big!

I definitely would consider getting the Pusheen Box again as it was a lot of fun not knowing what you were going to get and any Pusheen fan would be happy with these exclusive items. Which item was your favourite?
