I was very sad to hear of Miffy creator Dick Bruna’s death at the weekend. Having a Dutch mother, my childhood was full of Miffy/Nijntje and this probably explains why I still love cute bunnies so much!

If you need some more Miffy in your life now, here’s my current favourites from the UK Miffy Shop.

I did not know this mug existed and now it’s top of my birthday wish list. Look at that face on the bottom!

Also pretty amazing – this simple Miffy face tote bag.

You can’t go wrong with a Miffy plush and this denim one is very sweet.

And if you’ve got a couple of hundred quid to spare, a Miffy lamp would make you the envy of your friends.
You’ll find even more Miffy cuteness in the Dutch store and there are stockists worldwide. Do you have any Miffy memories?

February 23, 2017 at 1:37 pmMiffy (Nijntje) was an important part of my childhood. I had a few Miffy books and I think my Mum still has them! When I studied in Utrecht I would sometimes see Dick Bruna ride his bicycle through town. I think for a lot of Dutch people Miffy is in their DNA. Glad she is so loved all over the world :)
