A friend – who knows that I am a Gudetama fangirl – shared a Youtube video from BudgetHobby with me. At first glance I thought I was looking at an official Sanrio Gudetama plush, but the video showed how to make one yourself for under $3!

The DIY Gudetama Plush can be made by using yellow socks, felt fabric and some pillow stuffing. The instructions are very clear and it looks like an easy craft. Now I still have to find a pair of yellow socks ;).

BudgetHobby also shows how to needle felt the sweetest DIY Disney Tsum Tsums. I think these would make great gifts. Alternatively you can use socks to make bigger Tsum Tsum Plushies.

For the My Melody Plush Tutorial she used a more textured sock, which gives a nice professional result. This plush looks so huggable <3
