There must have been some wires cut in our brains for us not to have mentioned Robot Shop here yet. I still remember the day myself and Panda-san stumbled across this awesome shop of cute in Camden Market only to discover it was closed! Oh the sadness. However, they do have an online version so we still get to admire the cute without pressing our faces up against the windows (yes, we did that).
Run by the lovely Vic, the Robot Shop has all manner of cute, lots of which is handmade. I’m especially fond of the Pink Kat line of bags adorned with the cutest of characters, from the adorable robot mascot to happy biscuits and vegetables to Stephen who I hear likes french fries. They also have a marvellous range of 80s cartoon stuff and lots of things involving scrabble tiles. Yay!
If you’re ever in London then make sure to plan ahead and go visit them in real life (and buy us a present).
Updated 2020: This shop is now closed – have a look at Our Favourite Kawaii Artists, Designers & Makers instead.
