Kawaii Character Clocks & Watches

Posted on February 2, 2023 by

I know we all have phones and smartwatches now but sometimes it’s nice to take a break from screens and go analogue. Clocks are a great way to add some cute to your walls and wrist watches double as accessories so here’s some I love featuring our favourite kawaii characters. Many are from Japanese shops but most ship worldwide.

Ghibli Catbus clock

Let’s start with the most amazing clock I’ve seen in a while – a Catbus Pendulum Clock from Donguri Kyowakoku (JP – requires forwarding service). Not only is it super cute with incredible details but the eyes move from side to side! You can also buy a mini replica of the grandfather clock in Whisper of the Heart, though it’s not cheap!

kawaii wall clocks

Plaza Japan (JP) stock a really colourful range of desk and wall clocks featuring characters from Sanrio, San-X Pokemon, Miffy and more. The fridge magnet style numbers on these T’s Factory clocks are so fun.

kawaii cats clock

HAPiNS (JP – requires forwarding service) have a surprisingly large range of clocks and watches with their Fuku Fuku Nyanko cats. The pendulum clocks are my favourite and this pancake design would be perfect for a kitchen.

Pokemon watch

I feel like my child self would have done anything for a Pokemon Mix Watch. You get loads of different parts to mix and match so you can change the design whenever you feel like it. Get it from Sugoi Mart (JP).

Disney Tsum Tsum watches

Disney fans will find it hard to resist these cute Tsum Tsums CITIZEN Q&Q watches at Very Goods. There’s also a few Sanrio characters too.

Animal Crossing watches

EMP (UK) have a lot of Disney, Pixar and gaming themed watches including these cute Animal Crossing designs featuring Isabelle and the Nooklings (is that a band? I hope so).

Pusheen watch

Pusheen fans can pick up this very pretty rose gold watch at The Pusheen Shop (US).

Amuse Harajuku ring watches

And for something a little different, how about a ring watch? These are apparently all the rage in Harajuku and Japan Haul (JP) have lots of Amuse characters to choose from, at a bargain price.
