Autumn might be my favourite season for crafting and the cooler weather makes it a great time to plan some projects to keep you busy at home, whether that’s for Thanksgiving, Halloween or just cute woodland themes. If you need some inspiration, these cute craft supplies are perfect for the season with natural, muted and jewel tones.

If you love origami and paper crafts, Scrapbook.com (US) has loads of themed patterned paper packs for Autumn/Fall with a mix of complimentary designs, including some spooky cute Halloween ones. This Oak Lane set has 40 sheets of double-sided card that’s ideal for card-making, journaling and scrapbooking.

While kawaii washi tape is impossible to resist, it’s worth picking up some solid colours too, as you can write on top or cut them into shapes without having to work around a design. mt (UK) have a whole range of muted colours that are available individually or as a box of 10.

I love rubber stamps for adding fun touches to snail mail, journaling pages and gift tags. Using a different colour of ink can make a stamp feel new again and JetPens (US) has some lovely Kodomo no Kao gradient ink pads with a whole rainbow of colours. The Fruit Jelly pad (bottom left) is my favourite.

There’s something very enjoyable about choosing felt colours for a new project and a lot of shops offer bundles of colours that go well together. This Autumn Bliss wool felt collection from Cloud Craft (UK) is really versatile with a mix of muted and jewel tones for nature, and bright Halloween colours too. The marl greys look so perfect for animal fur!

I’m gearing up for another go at dressmaking (with a book I’ll be reviewing) so I’m obviously looking at cute fabric, despite already having a big stash! Spoonflower (US) have thousands of cute designs to browse through for Autumn/Fall and Halloween. These are a few that caught my eye for doing something different or extremely cute. You can have any design printed on a huge range of fabric bases to suit your project and many designs come in multiple colourways and scales too. DMC (global) have thread in every colour imaginable for embroidery or cross stitch. While no-one really needs the entire Mouliné Autumn Palette of 46 colours, it has a list of all the individual colours to help you pick the right mix for your project, including variegated colours. They also have a lot of free patterns to download.

If you’re more into knitting and crochet – or making pom poms – Love Wool (UK) has Colour Club yarn packs with seasonal colours for smaller projects. Hocus Pocus covers both Autumn and Halloween so is even better value.

Sometimes it’s more about the vibes than a specific craft or project and Søstrene Grenes (UK/EU) always has a lovely and affordable range of seasonal craft supplies and kits, which you can even filter by colour or material. Their Autumnal patterned paper and yarn colours are well worth adding to your hoard for when inspiration strikes.
