The Mandalorian Treats & Recipes

The new series of the Mandalorian is almost here and we’ve just had a new trailer release! I’m very excited to see Grogu and Mando coming back to our screens in March, so let’s celebrate with some very adorable and delicious Mandalorian themed recipes.  

What better way to start than with these biscuits from the official Star Wars website that show a sugar cookie Din Djarin hugging his little fondant Grogu. You can make these using the official cutters or create the helmet shape on top of a normal gingerbread man . “Wherever he goes, I go.”

If you just want to showcase Grogu, then these cake pops from Bakerella are super cute. They don’t have to be Valentine’s themed, but I know I’d be happy to receive a bunch of these over flowers any day. They’re pretty fiddly, but the article includes templates for the shapes you’ll need for the decorations.

Do you remember the blue macaron style cookies from season 2 of The Mandalorian that Grogu loved? If you wanted to recreate them, then this is a recipe from Binging with Babish to make something very similar. He even has a little chat with one of the show’s creators, Jon Favreau, at the beginning of the video.

Melly Eats World is one of my favourite food creators on Instagram and she has quite a few Grogu posts on her feed (my favourite are the choux buns with matcha cream). While not all of them come with tutorials, you can find some for her fruit versions of Grogu on her Stories Highlights (the grape ones are extremely simple).
