One of our favourite kawaii events, Hyper Japan, is back after two years, taking place in London over 22nd-24th July 2022.
The Hyper Japan festival celebrates everything Japanese with a mix of modern and traditional performers, J-Fashion & cosplay, food and shopping. There’s still lots to be announced but some big names include FEMM, Mika Kobayashi, 6%DOKIDOKI and ACDC Rag, plus loads of cute artists and makers.
There’s also add-on events including craft workshops, HYPER LIVE J-music festival and the Sake Experience. The workshops are always an interesting mix and this year you can try origami, fabric dying, sugar candy making and manga drawing.
Tickets are on sale now (affiliate link, thank you!) and there’s 4 sessions across the weekend. This year the event is at a new venue, Evolution London in Battersea Park.
