Happy Veganuary! January is the month when vegans promote compassionate food choices. It’s not too late to start, and I’ve found some fun vegan recipes to try and cute shopping picks too.
If you are interested in learning more about veganism or giving the Veganuary Challenge a try, visit the Veganuary website (UK). There is a cute, 1-minute animated video explaining the month-long challenge.
You can also download a free vegan cookbook from the site. I gave the 3 Ingredient Ice Cream a try. The recipe was simple, although I did need to add almond milk to make it creamy. My 4-year-old daughter loved it with frozen strawberries instead of cocoa.
You can also serve it with my Vegan Pancakes, or MissMuffcake’s Vegan Ice Cream Waffles. Many of our recipe posts include vegan options and alternatives too.
If you’re already vegan, Kind Earth Clothing (through Threadless, worldwide) has shirts with kawaii vegan designs.
Or you can show your vegan pride with this sweet vegan rainbow pin from Witchvisions on Etsy (US).
Urban Outfitters (US) carries a lot of vegan products, including these adorable pastel bath crystals from The Crème Shop X Hello Kitty And Friends collaboration.
If you need a giggle, Myq Kaplan is a hilarious comedian who is also Vegan (his first album was called Vegan Mind Meld). You can follow him on Instagram @myqkaplan.
