Last Minute Easter Bunny DIYs

Posted on April 10, 2020 by

Even though I’m celebrating a little differently this year, Easter is still one of my favorite holidays, thanks to the cute animals and pastel colors. It snuck up on me this year, though, so I haven’t found the time to make Easter crafts. If you’re in the same boat and looking for something quick to make last minute, check out these Easter Bunny DIYs I’m looking to try out!

Of course there are plenty of adorable origami projects to choose from. One of my favorites from Kamikey Origami is their bunny and egg design because it can also work as a memo or note card! I may not be able to give away any this year (on time anyway) but I think I’ll make one to stick in my journal!

Dahchan Origami also offers several bunny designs, but my favorite from her channel is surely the chubby 3D origami bunny. I know I always say this, but these are so cute from year-round desk buddies! (Even if you don’t have printed or colored paper, you can make your own by using whatever paper you have and cutting it down to size and coloring it yourself!)

Any clay makers out there should watch Rara Craft’s clay painter bunny tutorial. The spoken language and subtitles are in Chinese, but the video is shot very well so that you can clearly see all the steps. They use air dry clay, but you could also use polymer clay if that’s what you happen to have!

Miss Tricks Mix has a really cute Easter bunny felt ornament tutorial that’s worth checking out for a sewing project! It’s basic enough so you can substitute supplies or colors (like embroidering the eyes instead of using safety eyes) it and will still look really cute.

And if you’re not quite up for that much work, all you need is a printer, scissors, and glue to make PapierBonbon’s Sakura-print Easter bunny boxes. They’d work just as well for trinket boxes as they would treat boxes in my opinion! There’s even a companion video that shows how to put them together.

When all else fails, color! There are plenty of adorable Easter coloring pages to be found on Etsy, but one that really caught my eye was the printable bunny portrait coloring pages by LittleYellowDaisies.
