Love the idea of the summer season, but not the heat (or occasional boredom) that comes with it? Here are some fun summer crafts to help you stay indoors and comfortable while also entertained.

Have a green thumb? Try customizing some of your planters and pots. The Soap Deli News blog has a post featuring some simple kawaii watermelon planter ideas and helpful tips for painting terracotta pots.

Plant lovers celebrating Pride Month can also make some cute decorative rainbow plant picks to add to their customized pots using the Handmade Charlotte photo tutorial and handy printable templates.

2 Cats & 1 Doll has a short tutorial for a rainbow wall hanging; you could leave it as is or even add a kawaii face made of felt for an extra dose of cuteness.

And NataliDoma DIY has a very similar tutorial for making a small yarn rainbow that can be used for many different kinds of accessories, like a keychain or planner charm.

If you’re back to traveling this summer and need some cute on-the-go tech protection, Handmade Charlotte also has a kawaii juice box power bank felt case DIY that doesn’t use very many supplies.
