In July I went to the San Jose Harajuku Fashion Walk, where a group of fashionably cool people got together to walk around, show off their outfits, drink bubble tea and shop.

It was a chance to make new friends, catch up with old friends and just hang out. Jacky organized the event and is a fan of thrifting and making the accessories she wears.

If you are interested in Japanese street fashion and want to do your own walk, look online to see if your town has one. If there is not a group to be found ask a group of friends to join you and have fun. You can see more photos at Jacky’s blog.
