I grew up with Winnie-the-Pooh stories and later continued to enjoy him and the gang through Disney too, so it’s amazing to see all of the love this delightful character is receiving for his 100th year. In the UK there are so many places you can visit to celebrate, including Pooh Corner and Ashdown Forest (the Hundred Acre Wood) or the Winnie-the-Pooh trail that’s touring many National Trust properties across the country. If you can’t access any of these, then I have the perfect selection of purchases, recipes and crafts so that you can enjoy that silly old bear from the comfort of your own home.

A classic purchase for a classic character – this soft toy at John Lewis (UK) is based on Pooh’s original design and perfectly celebrates his 100 years. You could gift it to a fan or keep it for yourself and his sitting position makes him perfect to perch on a shelf, but equally he looks the softest for a snuggle too.

Disney Store Japan (JP – requires forwarding service) has so many adorable Winnie the Pooh seasonal items, but they also have some products celebrating the 100 years too. This glasses case with the main four marching across the front is so lovely and in the original illustration style too, which I really appreciate. You can grab this with international shipping via VeryGoods (JP) and the inside design comes complete with ‘hunny’ pots and bees too, which is just perfect.

The Hundred Acre Wood seems to be getting just as much as love as the characters themselves and Skinnydip (UK) have brought out pyjamas with the map printed all over them. It’s such a lovely design and perfect for those who like their merchandise to be less character driven. Sizes XS-XL

Truffle Shuffle (UK) have a huge amount of Loungefly in stock including this Hundred Acre Wood map tote bag. The front has little perforations for adding pins like an open ita bag and Truffle Shuffle have even got some pins to get your display started. There’s more bags and pins at Loungefly (US) too including a new Christmas collection.

Winnie the Pooh Amigurumi and More! (UK/US) includes 20+ crochet patterns for toys, clothes, blankets, and other “stuff and fluff” featuring Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Rabbit, Roo, Kanga and Owl. All the patterns are either beginner or intermediate level. The Winnie-the-Pooh hat on the front cover looks adorable.

These pom poms from Disney could easily be turned into little bag charms or you could string many together for a little garland. They show you how to create the pom poms using a specific pom pom tool, but you can actually make one out of cardboard too if you didn’t have one.

Bento Monsters has a selection of character themed baked doughnuts made with pancake mix! I love how their little faces look like Tsum Tsums.

These little tartlets from The Little Blog of Vegan are just as cute as the doughnuts above with their little Tsum Tsum faces and have a different fruity flavour for each character.
The Little Art School has a very detailed tutorial on how to create this iconic picture of Pooh with his balloon as he tries to steal honey from the bees. It starts you off with creating a pencil sketch, into the watercolour itself and then finishing off with the sketchy ink lines that were so typical of the book’s illustrations.
