Even in Scotland, I never go anywhere in the summer months without a hat to protect me against the sun. Caps and bucket hats are my go-to for cute designs that are lightweight enough to stash in a bag so here’s a mix of cute characters and artist designs. If you’re heading into the winter instead, most of these shops have cosy beanies too.

Nintendo’s official store (US) has recreated the Dodo Airlines hat so you can pretend you’re in Animal Crossing New Horizons. It looks exactly like the in-game version with embroidered details and you can buy the DAL t-shirt too. Make the flight jacket next!
Thousand Skies (US) has so many caps and hats with cute animals that even picking four was difficult. I love all the embroidered details and some use fluffy chenille for extra cuteness. If you live somewhere windy, or are always losing your hat, pick up one of the bucket hats with an adjustable strap.
This space ship bucket hat by MarinkiArt (EU) made me laugh as it looks like a UFO with an alien cat inside. And yes, it is adult size. This will definitely be a talking point and make you some new friends while you’re out and about.
