TokyoTreat – Harajuku Snackventure
Harajuku is Tokyo’s trendiest neighbourhood and you can get a taste of some of the cute and colourful treats and flavours at home with TokyoTreat’s fun and exclusive snack box. Each monthly box is filled with limited-edition KitKats, specialty-flavoured Japanese chips, seasonal treats, and occasional Japanese sodas that are only available in Japan for a limited time. This month there are 14 different sweet and savoury items, including a full size bag of KitKats, instant noodles and a DIY candy kit, plus a colour booklet. 5 items in our box are not veggie-friendly (including the ramen).
Marceline’s Favourites
- Mega Marshmallow Stick – it really is mega-sized and almost too cute to eat. The perfect sweet colourful and kawaii Harajuku snack.
- Salted Lemon Pretzel Sticks – an odd but addictive combo with lemon and black pepper that’s really zingy.
- Simply Sweet DIY Ice Cream – a super-easy candy kit (just mix the powder with water) to scoop on top of wafer cones. Good fun with a strong fizzy fruity flavour.
- Garlic Potato Chips – there’s 5 savoury snacks in this box and they’re all good but these garlic chips are something a bit different.
- Kirby’s Crazy Gum Mix – mix and match the 5 flavours to create your perfect gum with guides for melon soda, apple pie, candy apple and more.

Sakuraco – Mt. Fuji Summertime
Treat yourself or a loved one and experience the tastes and specialities of of Mt Fuji’s surrounding areas, with a box of Sakuraco snacks. Each monthly box contains 20 traditional, authentic, and artisan Japanese snacks from local snack makers across Japan, including Japanese teas, a special Japanese tableware item and a full colour booklet. For this month’s box, there’s Fuji-shaped biscuits, sugar candies and jelly, plus Shizuoka green tea and a stunning small plate featuring Hokusai’s great wave with Fuji in the background. Only 1 item isn’t suitable for vegetarians (shrimp crackers).
Emma’s Favourites
- Shizuoka Green Tea Cookie – This is deliciously bitter with a great green tea flavour and it’s so moist and buttery.
- Ako Salt Agemochi – These are SO addictive. They have a fantastic salty crunch but there’s still a slight chew from the mochi in the centre.
- Matcha Genmaicha – I love the toasty flavour of genmaicha and this is actually fantastic cold as well, making it a great summer drink.
- Muscat Konjac Jelly – This jelly has a super refreshing grape flavour and is the perfect snack for the summer.
- Mt Fuji Biscuit – Just as buttery as the green tea cookie, but sweeter and the perfect accompaniment to the genmaicha.
