Autumn is here, although it’s feeling a little bit warm still in the UK. However, I’m preparing for the colder times to come and one of the perfect ways to get cosy is with candles. So, I’ve collated a list of some seasonal candleholders to either relax you or to get your house feeling haunted in time for Halloween.

IKEA (global) have a new Halloween range and I just love their 3-wick candle that feature three little ghosts poking their heads out of a black glass holder. If you prefer to have something a little more reusable year after year, then they have a haunted house style tea light holder too featuring some more little ghosties.

Pumpkins are quintessentially autumnal and the symbol of October, but I love that these mini ceramic tea light holders from Dekoxid (EU) can be both seasonal and spooky meaning they can stay out until the Christmas decorations go up. Plus, you can choose from a wide variety of colours to match your home decor too.

Confetti glass has been trending for a while now, but this orange and white candle holder from Hobbycraft (UK) comes in the perfect soft colours for the autumn season. I think the fact that it isn’t overly decorated means you could get away with burning it all year.

It’s almost that time of year for falling leaves and three have fallen perfectly to create these lovely leaf candle holders from Pretty Little Home (UK). They come in three different sizes and the neutral colour will fit them into any space.

Ghosts seem to be the theme of the spooky side of things and this big 3-wick candle from Next (UK) is completely covered in them. They also remind me a little of the Hattifatteners from Moomin (without their arms) so I immediately liked this! It’s not just the holder that’s seasonal though, the candle itself is pumpkin spice too.

I think this mushrooms candle holder from Graham and Green (UK) might be a love-it-or-hate-it piece, but I think it would be a great addition to a house full of greenery and plants. It gives that forest feeling all year round, but it would be especially great in autumn as they start to flourish outdoors too.

This carved pumpkin from Village Wax Melts. (UK) hides a secret underneath its lid, which is a little saucer for holding scented wax melts. Just pop a tea light underneath and wait for your favourite scent to warm and fill the room

We’ve had ghosts inside the candle and adorning the edge of a candle holder, but this time, they ARE the holders. I think these ceramic ghosts from Very (UK) would be perfect at either end of a mantelpiece or your spooky Halloween dining table. The speckled effect adds a bit more interest and a little bit of ageing to the pair, rather than them being a stark white.

From B-Corp certified Nkuku (UK) come these gorgeous antiqued amber tea light holders. While perfectly suited to the autumn season, they’d be a beautiful addition to your home all year round.
