April is National Card and Letter Writing Month in the US so what better excuse to send some happy mail to your favourite people? Everyone loves getting surprise post and you can make it super cute too with these stationery picks from kawaii artists on Etsy.
Yay! It’s Vica (US) has a few useful and cute Happy Mail stickers for pen pals which are available individually or in a bundle. There’s sheets of faux stamps and happy envelopes, as well as larger stamp-shaped vinyl stickers to stick on your journal or water bottle.
If you’re new to snail mail, rainzosprinkle (UK) has some colourful penpal kits that are sure to brighten up anyone’s day. This one includes everything you need to get started including multiple sheets and sizes of writing paper and envelopes, and stickers to decorate everything.
Two of my favourite things are bunnies and post so I adore this Mail Bunny washi tape from ArtOfXethira (CAN). The airmail colour scheme is perfect and there’s so many fun illustrations. You can also get matching stickers and sticky notes.
Kellylou (UK) has too many cute perforated stamp washi tape designs to choose from but I can see these birthday stamps coming in useful all year round – both for snail mail and decorating envelopes you’re handing over in person. This Happy Mail sticker sheet from Laurel Mae Art (UK) has a lovely soft colour scheme and positive messages like ‘shop small’ and ‘thank you postie’! There’s also matching washi tape.
If you find it hard to share your stationery, printable stickers can be used as many times as you like. applemoment has lots of adorable post-themed sheets with animals including cats, dogs, snails and sheep.
Sealing your envelopes with wax feels so fancy and now it can be cute too, thanks to boygirlparty (US)! Susie has designed a range of animal-themed Wax Seal Stamp Kits with everything from an owl and cat to an octopus and opossum. You can also add all the extras like colourful wax beads and a spoon for melting and pouring.

You can choose from two sets to decorate your mail with all kinds of useful designs, and some fun interactive ones too, like a stamp to draw in.
