Later this month I’m heading off on my first international trip in over 4 years (to Berlin!), and I’m not sure I remember how everything works. Kawaii travel accessories definitely help to keep all my stuff organised and make sure I don’t forget anything important so here’s some cute ones I’d love to own.
I already own this bunny makeup bag from Claire’s (UK) as I got it for my birthday! Not only is it adorable – with squishy cheeks! – but there’s lots of room inside, a wipe clean lining and carry handle. There’s also a unicorn version.
This toiletry bag at The Pusheen Shop (US) is even more useful as you can hang it up for easy access and there’s loads of pockets and compartments. Looks like it packs quite flat as well if you’re traveling light.
If you’re a Sanrio fan, you’re in luck as there’s a whole range of luggage and accessories available from Sanrio (US) and ARTBOX (UK), including suitcases and packing cubes. I really like this pretty little Kuromi Slim Travel Case which has lots of useful pockets and space for a photo.
Travel pillows can be annoying to carry around but this LINE FRIENDS 2-Way Travel Cushion at ARTBOX (UK) can be turned into a neck cushion or a round pillow so it will come in useful all through your trip. They also have some cute BT21 neck pillows.
There’s nothing worse than not being able to find that important bit of paper when it need it but Cuteness (EU) have loads of kawaii file folders to keep everything organised. There’s multiple designs and sizes (from A6-A3) to suit your needs. My favourite is this small Korilakkuma document folder which has plenty of pockets for your boarding pass, travel cards, tickets and reservations.
I have a huge collection of pouches and drawstring bags, which come in very useful for helping me find things in a big suitcase or bag. Redbubble (worldwide) have some really great quality zipper pouches that I can recommend. They come in 3 different sizes and you can choose artwork from thousands of amazing artists. This Tree Hugger design is by an artist in Berlin, littleclyde. You can also browse my following list for more kawaii artists.
A travel journal is a lovely way to document and remember your trips and I really love these Stitch Your Travels designs by Chasing Theads (UK). They have aida-style covers so you can add cross stitches for cities you’ve visited, stitch a journey path or fill in countries. As well as the journals, they have passport cases, luggage tags, tote bags and more.
Make sure your suitcase is easy to spot with this Traveler’s Sticker Set at MochiThings (US). You get ten colourful stickers, plus one for your name, so no one will get their luggage mixed up with yours.
If you’re living in Berlin, or have visited recently, let me know any tips for cute things to see and do!
