Bags are definitely my favourite accessories, especially when they’re fun and cute. If you’re a fan of crossbody bags, here’s some kawaii options you’ll find it hard to resist.
We featured some cute plushies from Squishable (US) recently but did you know that they also make bags? There are some plush bags but I especially love these faux leather bags with a caterpillar and hot dog.
Jellycat (US) have also started creating wearable versions of their adorable plush including a fan favourite, the croissant! The little legs always get me.
Get that rock star look with this amazing Hatsune Miku guitar bag at Oshoppu (UK). It has so many cool embroidered details and a pick-shaped zipper pull.
You can always rely on 100% Soft (US) to keep things kawaii, however bad the vibes are, and this Dead Inside plush purse promises to help you “carry your existential dread in style”, along with a little skull charm.
Also ideal for Halloween fans, a little scaredy ghost ita bag at Giant Kitten (UK) with a window in its tummy. There’s a purple cat ghost version too.
Irregular Choice (UK) always go way over the top and this Feline Cute bag has cats, glitter, bows and flowers. You can use it as a handbag but it includes a crossbody strap too. There’s a black and grey version as well, plus matching shoes!
Loungefly (US) are another brand you can guarantee will have something fun. The new Strawberry Shortcake collection includes this heart-shaped crossbody bag with denim, gingham, lace and lots of strawberries.
And this might be the most ridiculous bag I’ve seen in a while – in a good way! Powerpuff Girls fans will recognise it as the Powerpuff Hotline to the Mayor and you can even plug the handset into your phone and use it to listen to music!
