Kawaii Suncatchers To Buy & DIY

Posted on February 5, 2024 by

January was such a gloomy month here and it’s always a delight when the sun comes out and hits the suncatcher on my window, making rainbows on all the walls. If you’d like more rainbows in your life, here’s some kawaii shopping picks and DIYs.

Miffy suncatchers

Japanese brand Kawada have made these pretty Miffy Kumi-tera stained glass paper craft kits with 6 different colours and flowers to choose from. Assemble the pieces, pop them in front of a window and they’ll let the light through for a bit of extra colour. Plaza Japan (JP) have them all in stock for under £10 each.

As a space and bunny lover, I’m a big of Ika Ink (US) and there are two celestial designs available as suncatchers. This is the same kind I have myself, which you just stick on your window.

I was so happy to see that Bel’s Art World (UK) has added a range of suncatchers as they’re perfect for Belinda’s cute illustrations. This happy bao would be great in a kitchen and there’s also cats, leaves, bugs and bacteria!

I also love the simple cute style of Super Cute Awesome Stuff (UK) and they have a few nature-themed suncatcher stickers including a sun, cloud and this mountain.

Stained glass is a classic but that doesn’t mean it can’t be cute. ScloGlassStudio (EU) has lots of modern designs like these pretty sakura flowers that are making me wish for spring.
