Our new writers search is over (for the moment – see below) and we’re delighted to welcome Allison to Super Cute Kawaii! Her first post as an SCK Team member will be up later today but let’s meet her first.
Allison is from the Pacific coast of the US. She takes care of animals by day and fully introverts by night with two adorable Jack Russell Chihuahuas and a tortie cat named Marnie. Her love for kawaii started as a child, spending all of her allowance at the Sanrio store and pretending to be Sailor Mercury at recess. She particularly likes llamas, tea, reading fantasy, and Nintendo. Her favorite movies are Coraline, Labyrinth, and Howl’s Moving Castle. You can read all her posts here or follow her on Pinterest.
New Writers Update
A huge thanks to all the applicants for taking the time to apply, and especially to Lucy & Nika for writing test posts for the blog. We loved meeting you all. The whole process ended up being a lot longer and more exhausting than I really had the energy for at this time of year, so I definitely plan to take another look at everyone’s applications next year and consider adding another writer to the team. I’ll keep you posted.
