Simple & Cute Home Decor Ideas

My home is a mix between minimalism and cute. This is because I easily get overwhelmed by visual clutter, but at the same time I do enjoy kawaii decorations. I’d like to show you what kind of cute items I usually bring into my home.

I’m a bit of a couch potato and love to have soft pillows and blankets at hand. I have some soft plushies on the couch that can double up as pillows, such as this Hamburger plush from Hema (EU) and large Squishables (US). You can also easily change the look of regular pillows by making new covers for them, for instance with kawaii Spoonflower fabrics.

My kitchen items – especially the mugs, glasses and containers – come with soft pastel colours and cute designs.
