Sunny side up is an American term for cooking an egg on one side, leaving the yolk intact. These eggs also make great cute characters. We’ve selected some eggcellent kawaii fried eggs that you can bring home.

Hanaletters (EU) has cooked up felt egg brooches in 3 styles for you; buttercup, sunflower and curry. They are each carefully handmade from quality merino wool felt and would look great on your jacket or bag.

Helen Bucher (EU) designed these cute fried egg memo pads. Each pad contains 50 sheets and I think they would be great for journaling or to write down groceries.

Jellycat (UK/US) makes the best kawaii plushies. They’ve created a kawaii fried egg plush and a boiled egg plush. You can also search for Jellycat Amuseable plushies in local (children’s) shops, I even spotted them on Zalando.

An egg post wouldn’t be complete without Gudetama, even though he’s not very sunny to begin with. Sanrio (USA) has many Gudetama items, such as this Gourmet Chef plush. Outside the USA you can look for Gudetama at shops such as ARTBOX (UK) and Plaza Japan (JP).
