Daily challenges are a great way to kickstart the year and begin some good habits for 2020. Whatever you’d like to start, improve or try out, here’s some fun ones that can also be done in a kawaii style.
If you’re feeling a bit scared to start, remember that there are no rules. You can skip days or start later in the month and you don’t have to share anything online, though it can be a great way to find some new friends.
Cakes With Faces have a new Japanuary challenge for Instagram so you can share everything you love about Japan. Even if you haven’t visited yet, you can still join in.
There are so many daily drawing challenges to try but I like the positivity of Spoonflower’s Doodle-a-Day prompts. There are prizes too including an iPad!
The Kawaii Journaling Community has a new set of challenges for January & February to help you get ready for a new year. You can also join the Facebook group or follow the new Instagram account for inspiration.
If you’re feeling crafty, Wild Olive have some great Stitching Club sets of embroidery and cross stitch patterns. You get a set of cute patterns to stitch at your own pace with themes like travel, holidays and nature. There’s seasonal clubs for amigurumi run by Irene Strange & airali on Instagram too.
If you’re thinking of giving up (or cutting down on) meat this year, Veganuary is a great time to try eating vegan. Make it more fun with MissMuffcake’s tips for cute vegan snacks and there are loads of great vegan blogs and Instagram accounts for kawaii recipes and inspiration. We love Vegan Dollhouse and naturally.jo.
Are you doing any challenges this month, or over the year? We’d love to hear about them.
