Last Summer I purchased a pack of Yeastken stickers and the design is so cute that I just had to find out more about this character.
Yeastken was created by Kamio Japan and, according to the website, Yeastken is not sure whether he’s bread dough or a dog.
Yeastken comes in various shapes, such as a whole bread, baguette, muffin, tear-off bread and hamburger bun. There’s also a cute corn chicken, but I’m not sure what its function is.
The official Twitter page is the best, it shows the most adorable pictures and cartoons.
Kamio has released a range of stationery and plush items in Japan. If you’d like to buy some of these items overseas, you’d best visit Tofu Cute (UK), eBay or CDJapan (JP). All these shops will ship worldwide. And if you use Line, you can also buy a sticker set.
