We shared the NicoNico cat cup hangers recently and I thought you might like to see more. Cup hangers seem to be a very Japanese thing, in that they’re super kawaii but don’t really have much purpose.
The first ones featured a girl called Fuchiko who would sit on the edge of a glass and it soon grew into a bit of a craze with her in new poses and even teaming up with Funassyi.
I bought a couple in Japan as they’re quite cheap and in blind boxes so you get a surprise.
My Kanahei’s Small Animals figurine is a sleeping one and the details are so great, with his cheek smushed into the side of the glass! My sister was lucky enough to get Ditto Pikachu.
You can find most of your favourite kawaii and anime characters as Putitto hangers now. I really love the Neko Atsume ones. And there are lots of cute animals including cats, pugs, hamsters and these adorable hedgehogs.
If you’d like to buy some, check out Amazon Global, PlayAsia, AmiAmi and Tokyo Otaku Mode. Some will sell single boxes and others you need to buy a whole set.
