The SCK Awards winners were just announced live but if you couldn’t make it, here’s the full results. I’ve also included charts this year, so you can see how close some of the voting was.
FAVOURITE KAWAII CHARACTER
The same winners as last year, but this time Pusheen the Cat takes the top spot, followed by lazy bear Rilakkuma and those cute Alpacassos.
FAVOURITE KAWAII BRAND
Sanrio and San-X are your favourites again this year, while Studio Ghibli sneaks up to take third place.
FAVOURITE KAWAII ONLINE SHOP
Blippo is your favourite place to shop online again, taking a quarter of the votes, with ShopKawaii and Tofu Cute not far behind.
FAVOURITE KAWAII STORE
Sanrio stores are still your favourite places to shop in person with lots of branches worldwide. More locally, Tofu Cute takes second place for the UK and JapanLA in third for the US.
FAVOURITE KAWAII DESIGNER/MAKER
Tasty Peach Studio‘s adorable plushies are a brand new winner for 2015, while last year’s runners-up Milk Chocolate Dream and Twinkie Chan swap places.
FAVOURITE KAWAII BLOG
All new winners for best blog with Pusheen the Cat‘s adorable cartoons a big winner followed by Tofu Cute‘s informative shop blog and the kawaii overload of Japan Lover Me.
FAVOURITE KAWAII YOUTUBE CHANNEL
A close contest with Sweetorials just taking the crown for their mix of cute tutorials. Maqaroon‘s cute crafts takes second place with CutiePieMarzia‘s kawaii lifestyle videos in third.
FAVOURITE KAWAII GAME
A new category and those cute cats of Neko Atsume have everyone obsessed (including me – that’s my screenshot!). Disney’s Tsum Tsum puzzle game takes second place, with Nintendo’s immersive Animal Crossing in third.
MOST KAWAII PRODUCT OF 2015
Another new category, with nominations split between subscription boxes and plush. Kawaii Box ended up taking the top spot with their affordable surprise packages while Alpacasso plush and the new Pusheen Box were next on your wishlists.
MOST KAWAII PERSON OF 2015
Once again, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is crowned the Queen of Kawaii just after turning 23, opening her own rollercoaster ride and announcing a new greatest hits album.
Very close behind is Kaila, who spreads kawaii positivity worldwide with Rainbowholic and Japan Lover Me.
Just taking the third spot is Marzia of kawaii YouTube channel CutiePieMarzia.
