‘Just Robots’ is an illustration book by Yoyo The Ricecorpse and features a number of cute, quirky and bizarre robots.
I’ve been a big fan of Yoyo The Ricecorpse for a while now, after I stumbled across her work on Tumblr and immediately fell in love with her adorable and fantastical designs.
The best way to support an artist you love is to purchase their work so I bought ‘Just Robots’ after seeing some of the illustrations on Tumblr. The book came with a free badge and is full of strange robots with their animal friends.
It’s pretty hard to choose a favourite but I totally squealed at the black cats hugging their robot dino – too cute!
Her store also features hoodies, tote bags, cards and stickers and is well worth a browse. I recommend you follow her Tumblr for her wonderful series ‘The World and Under’ where animated characters inhabit real life locations in Japan. They are truly magical.
