Hyper Japan events are always lots of fun so I was very excited to visit the Christmas Market at Olympia last weekend.
I chose the Saturday morning session which was from 9 til 3 and got to Olympia around 11. It was Mega-Kawaii Heaven with so many stalls selling adorable plushies, Decora accessories and cute food. Here’s some of my favourite stalls.
Cakes With Faces with their cute and funny designs on t-shirts and cushions.
MeowMeowCookie with their range of delightful cat cookies.
Supercute Macarons selling delicious and kawaii macarons and cupcakes. The Nutella cupcake I had was so moist and yummy!
Tofu Cute which was so popular they had queues all day and where I bought the majority of my purchases. I just couldn’t resist the cuteness.
I also really enjoyed watching Siro-A and Anna Yano perform on the main stage, as well as all the amazing cosplayers! The only negative was that I found the hot food stalls over-priced and disappointing but maybe that was my bad choices. On the whole, I had an amazing day and could’ve stayed a lot longer.
Next year’s Hyper Japan Christmas Market will be on 27-29 November at Tobacco Dock in London and there’s a Summer festival too, so put those dates in your diary now and follow their Facebook page for updates!
Nicolette is the sister of Marceline and is also totally obsessed with everything kawaii! She enjoys crafting with felt, dressing up in cute outfits, playing Animal Crossing and eating cake.
