For this piece, I fancied a bit of a challenge combined with a love for the ultimate kawaii heroine, Hello Kitty. Here are five items I have found inspired by facts about Sanrio’s most famous cat.

Kitty is the height of five apples and the weight of three. Wall clock from John Lewis.

Despite being created in Japan, the character actually lives in London! English Royal Guard Soft Beanie from Plushtoys at Amazon.

Hello Kitty has a boyfriend called Dear Daniel. Onch X Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel necklace.

Her birthday is 1st November, 1975. Birthday card with badge from Artbox.

Hello Kitty’s full name is Kitty White. White Hello Kitty backpack by Loungefly.
This is a guest post from a writer who is not currently part of the SCK Team. They might have been part of our search for new writers or a very special guest.

September 30, 2014 at 4:14 pmI did not know her birthday, though my sister in law is obsessed (I say this lovingly, but I mean it. So. Much). Maybe I’ll send her a card on Hello Kitty’s birthday this year \o/ Cute list!

October 1, 2014 at 2:30 amThese are interesting! My favorite is learning that Hello Kitty’s birthday is two days before mine. :-) And I would have never guessed that she lived in London. Thanks for furthering my Hello Kitty education!

October 3, 2014 at 3:26 pmWasn’t it recently revealed that she’s not a cat but a girl with catlike features? Or did I dream that? =D Excellent article. Write more, please!!
