Happy Friday 13th! Spooky season is starting earlier and earlier and there’s already loads of adorable new collections and limited editions appearing by the day. If you’re a Halloween fan, you really don’t want to miss out, so here’s some early picks that are already selling fast.
The Pokemon Center in Japan has gone for a Trick or Treat theme this year and the Pikachu plush is so adorable, I love him so much. He’s available in 2 sizes along with a few other Pokemon including Rowlet, Fuecoco and Froakie. There’s also matching socks, accessories and stationery. They don’t ship internationally but you can order through Meccha Japan or JapanStuffs (both JP).
There’s a few spooky plushies at The US & UK Pokemon Center but they have some other fun stuff too including decorations, home & kitchen items, apparel and a special pin set. I really love the Gengar string lights!
Sanrio haven’t released their own Halloween collection yet but you can already make Sanrio Halloween plush at Build-A-Bear (global). Choose from candy corn Cinnamoroll, spooky bat Kuromi or zombie Pompompurin, plus there’s cute outfits and accessories to dress them up in. The wider Halloween collection has lots of glow in the dark friends, Dia de los Muertos designs and a giant pumpkin kitty, plus some smaller beanie plush for anyone on a budget.
Kidrobot (US) also have some Hello Kitty exclusives including a glow in the dark Skelebones plush, vinyl figures and blind bag enamel pins.
I already shared this year’s Halloween plush at San-X Japan which are now also available through Meccha Japan & Very Goods (both JP). Good news for US fans though as Jellybeet (US) have US-exclusive Rilakkuma and Sumikko Gurashi Halloween plush. There’s large plushies and smaller blind box keychain size with monster, zombie and ghost themes.
Jellycat (UK) have a huge Halloween collection and some characters have already completely sold out so don’t hang around if you fall in love with something. The aubergine vampire made me laugh but there’s also a whole skele-family, mummies, pumpkins, monsters, bugs and more.
If you’re counting the days until Halloween, Smoko (US) can help make it even more fun with their new House of Horrors Countdown Calendar. There’s 13 doors to open, each with a mini vinyl figure you can display. They also have some Halloween plush and larger vinyl figures.
