Here’s our review of the Summer Pusheen Box with a Pusheen’s Tropical Vacation theme of cute treats for summer holidays.
The box itself looked ready for a holiday with travel labels on top and Pusheen with a pink flower behind her ear. The vinyl figure is Pusheen wearing sunglasses hanging out in a strawberry floatie and I really love the translucent pool base as it looks really cool on my white shelf.
The contents go hard on a beach/pool theme and there’s a wider mix of designs and colours than usual with both brights and pastels. There were 7 items in the Summer 2026 Pusheen Box – plush, oversized tee, sunhat, beach towel, clear pouch, mini backpack and vinyl figure. Let’s have a closer look at my favourites.
Summer Club Tee
Finally a t-shirt! The last one was 2 years ago and while I love all the hoodies and sweatshirts, something with short sleeves was certainly appreciated, especially considering the summer heatwaves. This is a super fun and colourful design that feels a bit like a holiday souvenir and works for all kinds of summer activities. The back print is the main focus but there’s also a little strawberry floatie Pusheen on the front.
It’s an oversized boxy style that feels more casual with a looser fit than usual, and would be perfect for throwing on as a coverup at the beach or pool. I’m not sure I’m cool enough to pull off an oversized look but the back design is too fun to only use indoors and this shade of blue is one of my favourites. Time to try some styling ideas with the rest of my wardrobe!
Mini Backpack
This was a spoiler item and I wasn’t initially interested as I’ve never seen the point of a tiny backpack. In reality, it’s very sweet with a leather-effect fabric in pale pink with a pattern of Pusheens, desserts and drinks. It’s lined inside and has some useful features including a zip pocket, adjustable straps and a carry handle. It would have been nice to have a zipper pull but it’s not like I don’t already own a million little keychains.
While this still isn’t something I would use myself, it’s bigger than it seems with enough room for all your essentials. I can see it being handy when you only need to bring a few personal things alongside a beach tote or swim bag – or for stashing your valuables in a locker.
Clear Pouch
This might be my favourite item as we all know how much I love pouches for travel. The clear plastic is perfect for a toiletries/makeup bag as it’s waterproof, wipe-clean and you can easily see what’s inside. The design is very cute with Pusheen in the pool and I always appreciate a positive motto.
It’s bigger than I initially thought with gussets on the sides and bottom which mean it can stand up too. There’s also shiny blue binding and a metal zip (I don’t understand why the end of the zip can be attached to a popper on one side but maybe I’m being dim). I have a short trip soon so will be trying this out. If you don’t travel much, it would also work in your swim/gym bag or even as a pencil case.
Beach Towel
I was not expecting this and it’s so massive! Hard to get that across in a photo and I wish I could have got one outdoors for you, but my local beach has very little sand and the grass is parched. It’s plenty big enough for any adult to lounge on, and would work over a poolside lounger, on the beach or in the garden or park. The fabric is more like a throw or wall hanging than a bath towel, so not too bulky to carry around, and great to use or display indoors too. The design is super cute with Pusheen lounging at the pool, pink and white stripes and fringed edges. I hope I can find a good use for it.
Exclusive Mini Plush
As always, there’s an exclusive plush in the box with Pusheen wearing a pink flower and holding a (slightly odd-looking) ice cream. It’s a bit underwhelming compared to the recent Tropical Vacation surprise plush, and I would prefer they skip the plush if it’s not more unique.
Final Thoughts
The Scottish seaside is about as far as you can get from a tropical vacation (though we do have a few palm trees here!) but this turned out to be much more useful for my lifestyle that I feared. I love the vinyl figure, clear pouch, beach towel and tee and I’d also have used the hat if I didn’t have such an annoyingly small head. The plush is the only real disappointment and I would have preferred a small accessory like a keychain or bag charm. If you often visit the beach or pool, this would be a great one for you.
