I work from a desktop computer, but my iPad gets a lot of use during free time. Sometimes I bring it upstairs to listen to podcasts during a kawaii journalling session. In this post I’ll show you the tech accessories I use and other ways to cute up your tablet or laptop.
Currently I’m using this cute bunny Bentoy tablet sleeve case (China) to carry my iPad. The case is a bit roomy for my 9.7 inch iPad, as it will also fit a slightly larger tablet. The lovely Pikachu Cable Bite was a gift from Marceline and Nicolette, after their last trip to Japan. I can confirm that it prevents the Apple cable from breaking! The green Lillhult cable from Ikea isn’t necessarily cute, but it’s an affordable and safe backup for the Apple cable.
Next to the Bentoy case I also still use a handmade sleeve, made from kawaii fabric. At Sugar Bee Crafts you can find a great free tutorial on how to make an iPad sleeve.
The official Cable Bites can be a bit hard to find, as they tend to sell out quite quickly. A good place to look for them is Sanrio (US) and ARTBOX (UK). Kawaii Panda (EU) also has some nice cute cable decorations.
A kawaii vinyl sticker is a nice way to adorn your tablet, laptop or case. I think that this cute bunny sticker from Elena Pugger (US) looks very nice, followed by this cute angel ghost sticker from Jennifayrie (UK).
Add a touch of cuteness to working from home with one of the San-X character lap trays from ARTBOX (UK). The tray can hold your laptop and the cushion has a zipped compartment to store small items or to hold a hot water bottle, making sure you’ll stay warm.
You could also search local shops for nice laptop and iPad accessories. I found this cute pig shaped laptop pillow at a Dutch clothing shop called C&A.
A Cute Shop (Asia) offers a small collection of cute official computer accessories, such as this Hello Kitty x Logitech Wireless Mouse.
