It’s been a while since I last opened Animal Crossing New Horizons, but I decided it was high time I get myself and my island ready for arguably everyone’s favorite season: autumn (or fall, whichever you prefer)! In case you aren’t over the cottagecore craze or are looking to welcome the season with a cute new outfit, here are some custom designs you can use to spruce up your look.
This adorable patchwork apron by Yang works well with kidcore themes — or if you just want something cute to wear.
A flower field or herb garden backdrop would go well with this pretty apron dress by Emily.
Nothing screams autumn more than this rustic crocheted cardigan. The creator, Kaylee, is also on Instagram.
Don’t have Fauna, Beau, or any of your favorite deer on your island yet? Keep them closer to your heart with this cozy sweater by Sar and hope they visit someday!
A dress-type coat with a lace collar reminiscent of sweet caramel custard pudding by みいこ. Does it also remind you of a certain purin-colored golden retriever?
A freshly-baked apple pie hat from little tin would be the best way to top off your autumn outfit!
Ash has some fallen leaves you can use to decorate the ground in time for the season.
How to use Animal Crossing custom designs
You would need to have the following:
- An active Nintendo Switch Online membership. It’s a paid subscription feature, but you can get a 7-day free trial.
- The Able Sisters shop on your island. You can access the designs through the kiosk at the back of the shop and search for the design or creator codes above, then use the custom designs app on your NookPhone to try them out for yourself.
Enjoy your new looks! If you know any other design and creator codes that fit the theme, feel free to share them in the comments.
