I sometimes wish I could wake up one morning in my cute home on Neptune, my Animal Crossing New Horizons island. If you feel the same way, here’s some game items you can buy or make in real life.
The fish pochette is one of my regular in-game outfit accessories and The Haunted Needle has recreated it perfectly! If you’re handy with a needle, you can get the sewing pattern by joining their Patreon. Or if you’re more into crochet, KittensAndMittensCo has a fish pochette pattern for sale on Etsy.
Not crafty? This holographic shell bag on Ebay is a pretty good match for the game bag and looks to be quite a useful size for everyday.
If you’ve been admiring Tom Nook’s laidback style, you can now wear his cute Aloha shirt as Nintendo have made it a reality. It’s a Nintendo Store Japan exclusive but you can use a forwarding service or buy through JapanHaul with international shipping. Can we have Isabelle’s shirt too?
If you make your own clothes, or buy handmade, Sugarbones (Canada) have these great Able Sisters tags that you can sew inside. Every time you get dressed, you can feel like you really shopped there. They have some excellent Animal Crossing-inspired enamel pins too.
These elephant watering cans aren’t exactly like the game ones but I think they’re almost cuter. They’re really cheap, come in lots of pastel colours and would be perfect for watering all your flowers plants.
If a gamer friend has a birthday coming up, surprise them with a balloon present! There’s a few tutorials on Youtube – this one is by TheLovelyStuff VODs.
There’s lots more Animal Crossing crafts in our archives too. Are you still playing New Horizons? What other items do you wish were real?
