Studio Inktvis (meaning squid in Dutch) designs fun and kawaii stationery. I know them from their cute bear hug card, which has been decorating my wall for years (^_^). Recently Studio Inktvis has designed a very nice set of washi tapes and sent me some to try!
The washi tape comes in many cute designs, featuring animals, plants and rainbow patterns.
Each tape is securely wrapped in plastic, with a matching design on top. I quickly unwrapped the kawaii tapes to check them out.
One tape measures 15mm x 10m, just like the original MT masking tapes. This means that you can use it for a long time, before you run out of tape. The Studio Inktvis tape has the right amount of stickiness and leaves no residue when it’s removed.
The designs are just so cute, who doesn’t like a strip of rainbows or kawaii food on their planner pages, gifts or on other stationery?
The tapes are a little transparent and are made of washi (paper). They don’t have a plastic feeling to them, like some cheap washi tapes do. In my opinion the quality is very good.
I also received a set of cute cards and couldn’t resist to place some on my fridge. You can find many card designs in the shop, as well as stickers, totes, pins and other kawaii items.
