It’s always a good time to look at cute Re-Ment miniatures so here’s some of my favourites that are out now or very soon. They’re all available from multiple shops so I’ll list some options at the end. Click through the links in each pick to see more images.

As always, there’s lots of cute new Sanrio designs and Hangyodon Mart gets my vote. I can never resist a konbini theme and this has all the highlights with so many tiny snacks and drinks in cute packaging, plus a carrier bag, basket, checkout and Hangyodon figure to run the store. I also love Pompompurin Bakery, and there’s sets for My Melody & Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty and Pochaccho.

Cinnamoroll and Hello Kitty both also feature in new Kuji Pon! SURPRISE MIX! bags that are something a bit different. Instead of getting part of a larger set, each bag contains 4 surprise mini figures. There’s a mix of designs and finishes (like flocked, clear and sparkly) so they’d be great for filling out a display – like my type drawer of tiny things – or for decorating your desk.

Speaking of desks, Pokemon have a new set of desktop figures in Pokémon DesQ Relaxing Home! These are all too adorable, but also useful as they have areas to hold things like pens, clips, rubber bands and business cards. There’s also quite a few new diorama designs, so worth checking to see if your favourites are included this time.

Kirby seems to get a lot of unique designs first and the latest are Twinkle Wands with 6 magical designs to find. They come with a stand too so you can display them. Looks like they all have a gap where you could add a chain or clip for your bag or keys too.

Miffy gets a new Baby Room set but I much prefer the Fun Everyday Terrariums. They’re so colourful and the designs look like they came straight out of her books.

There’s more than kawaii characters too. Petit Sample is the original Re-Ment line with insanely-detailed sets themed around shops, cafes and interiors. Petit Crepe is another new innovation as there’s only one box that contains everything to set up your crepe stand. I hope we see more like this in future as the blind box aspect often puts me off risking my cash.

For more traditional set, Country Strawberry Cafe on the Hill feels so nostalgic. It’s a great example of the standard split as every box contains a few cute items that work well alone and would look so cute in a dollhouse. Other recent releases are themed around a traditional Japanese home, summer festivals and a child moving away to college.

You might think to skip past the Corporate section but these are collabs with famous Japanese companies. The latest is one of my favourite fast food places in Japan – Mos Burger, while there’s also Komeda Coffee and Mister Donut! If you’ve ever visited these, you’ll know how perfect all the details are, from the food and drinks to the furniture and decor.
Where to buy Re-Ment miniatures
You can find out about new sets at the official Re-Ment website and buy them all online from resellers by searching for the character or set name. The shops listed below are all recommended by us and ship worldwide. Most sell individual sealed blind boxes where you don’t know which set is inside.
