BackerKit is fast becoming the top choice for kawaii artists to create crowdfunding projects and I especially love their events that help you find similar artists and get exclusive rewards for backing multiple projects. Here’s four pairs of my favourites from the current Pintopia 2026 event with enamel pins and plush.
The most colourful project has to be the Snackoons by Catmint Studios! These snack raccoons are themed around all kinds of sweet & salty snacks with fun packaging. Everything is unlocked with dyed enamel pins, vinyl stickers, sticker sheets and keychains available and you can choose your favourites or try your luck and save money with a mystery pick. You can also get an extra exclusive pin set by backing the next project too.
Black Cat Botanicals is a floral enamel pin collection by Zandra Illustration with all new designs. It also has a mystery bag option or your choice of brand new dyed enamel pins, plus mini pins, stickers and sticker sheets. Most designs are unlocked with more to come.
inki-Drop is back with a new project featuring Mint Chocoturtle & Pals plush & pins. There’s 5 cute dessert-themed sea turtles available as keychain plush, along with matching enamel pins and stickers. Mint Chocoturtle and Berry Chocoturtle are already unlocked with 3 more cute designs to go. You can also get an extra exclusive pin set by backing the next project too.
milkbun has created some very unique pins called Make a Scene. They’re stackable so you get a huge background pin, plus mini pins to arrange on top as you like. They’re attached through holes so you can even use pins from your own collection. As well as the main forest design, there’s hot pot, book lover and a glow in the dark magical forest sets, which have all been unlocked already.
The next pair focus on plushies, starting with the Pawtelier Pals by Appleminte with removable clothing and magnetic accessories that you can mix and match. Ginkgo the red panda, Parcel the shiba and Clover the rabbit are all unlocked with more animals, shoulder pals, extra outfits and pins as stretch goals. You can also get an extra exclusive pin set by backing the next project too.
The Happy Ghost Plushie & Puddle Pals Pocket Plush project is the work of Bonnies Lab and features their original Happy Ghost character as large and mini keychain sizes, plus new Puddle Pal plush keychains. Enamel pins and stickers are already available too as add-ons, with only one stretch goal for a Light Up Clicky Keycap Keychain.
The last pair are part of the Cat-Tastic sub-theme for cat lover pin collectors and you’ll get free gifts for backing any 3 of them. Pawfee Break, a cozy cat cafe-inspired project by Otoro Cat. Almost all the pin designs are unlocked already, including a whole batch of new ones, plus there’s a Cat Egg Plush Wallet. You can also get an extra exclusive pin set by backing the next project too.
Purrfect Bites is another set of enamel pins combining adorable cats and delicious snacks, created by jChan Designer. These are inspired by Japan with taiyaki, takoyaki, onigiri, anpan and dango designs all unlocked, as well as mini pins, washi tape, sticky notes and tote bag.
