Most of us didn’t make it to San Diego Comic Con but you can still get a bit of the tokidoki experience online at tokidoki-Con, where you can pick some of the new releases that launched there, including Hello Kitty and Friends collabs, plus bargains and exclusives.
tokidoki is one of the brands we feel really close to as they felt like such a fresh and original kawaii brand when we started the blog. It’s really great to see them celebrating their 20th anniversary. There really is something for everyone with their trademark patterned bags, cool clothing, fun accessories and affordable badges & stickers. Look out for some extra-special items too – I love the Donutella bag & hair clip, the retro vinyl wallet, and all the acrylic standees.
Of course it wouldn’t be tokidoki without blind box vinyl figures and the Hello Kitty and Friends Galactic Cats collab is amazing. I think it must be US-only as the links don’t work for me but you can see them all on Instagram too. Each of the 9 cats has a Sanrio character costume, plus some adorable accessories. Sanrio fans should also check out the Autumn Market plush – personally I can’t bear to think about summer being over quite yet!
Also super cool are the Neon Reef Mermicornos, a new set of blind box vinyl figures that glow in the dark! Each one sits in a fishbowl and looks really cute and colourful in daylight too.
