I was going to do a roundup of recent cute craft videos but a few of my favourite kawaii channels have been posting so many amazing new tutorials that I’ve picked out four for a closer look Make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss their new videos.
ChelseyDiY
ChelseyDiY is currently working on a 30 Days of Clay project to try and inspire you to get started with clay crafts. She’s over a third of the way through at the moment and every single video is adorable! It’s a real mix of ideas too with small charms and larger items using both polymer clay and air dry clay. As you’d expect from Chelsey, much of it is kawaii food themed but there’s also a few characters including Sumikko Gurashi. Youtube / Instagram / Shop
DIY Fluffies
We’ve long been fans of the cute crochet patterns at DIY Fluffies and over the last year Mariska has been adding more free patterns and tutorials on Youtube, in both English and Dutch. Whether you’re a total beginner or more experienced there’s something you can have a go at, and lots of cute animals to choose from. Youtube / Instagram / Shop
Binc Bonc
I’d always thought of Binc Bonc as a needlefelting channel but they’ve been expanding into other crafts too including crochet and sewing toys. I really love all the recent stuffed plush tutorials, which include free patterns too. So far, there’s a matching bear, frog and cat for beginners, plus other animals in a more traditional jointed style. I can’t wait to see what animal is next! Youtube / Instagram / Shop
Hello Origami
I know I feature Hello Origami a lot but Alice just comes up with so many fun ideas. Every time I scroll my subs on Youtube, her colourful videos always stand out. Recent uploads include everything from desk accessories and stationery to interactive toys and squishy friends. You’re sure to find yourself saving multiple videos to try later and I always find the tutorials really easy to follow along with. Youtube
