Happy Star Wars Day everyone and ‘may the fourth be with you’! Let’s get creative in the kitchen with this brilliant collection of Star Wars based treats, so that we can celebrate this important holiday in style.
Lunch should definitely be this incredible Star Wars bento, or at least inspired by it. The death star apple is super inventive and I’ve fallen in love with the little lightsaber bento picks, but I think the BB-8 might test my cutting skills.
What would make gingerbread biscuits even better? Turning them into Ewoks of course! This cute recipe from the Star Wars website is not only perfect for May the 4th, but also the 40th Anniversary of Return of the Jedi this year.
These stormtrooper marshmallows from The Cookie Rookie are so fun and a great topping for hot drinks or even cupcakes. You only need white marshmallows and an edible ink pen for this one, so grab a big bag and you’ll have the possibility to make a whole army of them!
I love a unique macaron design and these ones from Semi Sweet Designs grabbed my eye immediately. This is definitely for the more advanced baker/decorator, but the R2-D2, Chewbacca and Death Star designs are amazing.
This Millennium Falcon is definitely an upgrade for the humble peanut butter cup. It’s a simple recipe but the end result looks very impressive. If you can’t get hold of the Millennium Falcon mould for these, then I’d recommend looking for another type of Star Wars design or ice cube moulds and try them out instead.
If you’ve visited Oga’s Cantina in Walt Disney World or Disneyland, then I’m sure you’ll recognise these cookies from the top of their Blue Bantha drinks. Diznify has given us the opportunity to recreate these fan favourites at home and I think I might just have to give them a try.
